Abstract
Pursuant to Utah Rule of Appellate Procedure 24(i) (2002), Appellant Tuong Xuan Dang wishes to bring State v. Martinez, 2002 UT App 2 07, to the Court's attention. It is relevant to the rstitution issue in his case. Of particular relevance is the Court's discussion of the necessity of an established ""sufficient nexus' [] between the defendant's admitted conduct and the claimed pecuniary damages." Id. Mr. Dang presented oral argument in this matter on June 11, 2002. Martinez, a memorandum decision, was released two days later on June 13, 2002. It is attached as an addendum to this letter.
