BRIEF OF RESPONDENT ON CERTIORARI REVIEW This writ of certiorari arises from a court of appeals' decision reversing the conviction of Aggravated Burglary, a first degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-203 (1999), Purchase or Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, a second degree felony, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-10-503(2)(a) (Supp. 2002), and Criminal Mischief, a class B misdemeanor, in violation of Utah Code Ann. § 76-6-106 (Supp. 2002), in the Third Judicial District Court, in and for Salt Lake County, State of Utah, the Honorable Judith S.
